WE ARE LOCALS.
WE ARE STORYTELLERS.
WE ARE AMIGOS
At Amigos Patagonia, we design private, tailor-made journeys for travelers who want more than a standard itinerary.
We take the time to understand your interests, travel style, and priorities, then create an experience that feels uniquely yours.
Because the best trips aren't measured by how many places you visit, they're measured by the memories you bring home.
OUR MISSION
To design and deliver authentic, responsible adventures in Patagonia that inspire, educate and protect the natural and cultural heritage of this extraordinary land.
AUTHENTIC
We believe the most memorable moments often come from genuine human connections.
RESPONSIBLE
We travel lightly and support conservation and local communities
PERSONAL
Small groups, local guides and personalized attention in every journey
PASSIONATE
We live here. We love what we do and it shows in every detail.
A LOCAL OPERATOR, NOT A GENERIC BOOKING PLATFORM
Hi, I'm Gerardo Jaque
I'm Chilean-American, born and raised in Punta Arenas and have been guiding travelers through Patagonia since 2015. After living abroad, I returned home and founded Amigos Patagonia to create private journeys that feel personal, flexible, and genuinely local.
My team and I design private day tours and tailor-made multi-day journeys across southern Patagonia, taking care of the timing, logistics, weather adjustments, and local details that shape a successful trip in this region.
Guests often describe our experiences as well organized without feeling rigid, informative without feeling scripted, and professional without losing the warmth, conversation, and personal attention that make a journey memorable.
Our Promise
From your first conversation to your final day in Patagonia, our commitment is simple:
Thoughtful planning. Honest advice. Seamless execution. Authentic experiences.
Because your journey should be as unique as the story you'll tell when you return home.

OUR TEAM
We are a locally based team of guides, drivers, coordinators, and travel specialists who help travelers experience Patagonia with care, flexibility, and local judgment.
Guests often remember not only the landscapes, but also the conversations, attention to detail, and feeling of being personally looked after.
